So to get ready for the brat fry everything needed to be organized. The temporary food license needed to be completed (which was done by a student), but it needed to have a check from FBLA funds to accompany it as well as coordinating all the supplies.
We had some meetings prior to school letting out making a list of who can bring items such as:
- tables
- coolers
- chairs
- grills
- extension cords
A student then typed the list we created and I updated it with items I knew we could borrow from individuals. This list was then sent out to all student going on the trip and helping out with the brat fry to assure everything would be needed.
This took approximately 1 hour to complete, but then I had to get all the items from school into my vehicle ready for the day. This took an additional hour of time with my husband and two children helping me out.
So since school was out for the summer I have put 2 hours into planning the brat fry.
Hello, I am planning a brat fry for my club at my high school and I was wondering how much food did you have donated? I have responisble for getting the food but the place we are having the food donated from wants numbers and i dont know what to tell them. If you could help that would be so great. Thanks
